The Warriors advanced to their second consecutive finals but lost to James and the Cavaliers in seven games.In 2017, Curry and the Warriors won their second consecutive championship and third in four years, defeating James and the Cavaliers again. Curry was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player after averaging 30 points per game.In 2018, Curry helped the Warriors win their third consecutive championship and fourth in five years, once again defeating James and the Cavaliers. He became only the sixth player in NBA history to win three consecutive championships with two different teams.CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE OUTLOOKStephen Curry is still playing for the Golden State Warriors and is considered one of the best players in the league.
